My Story

這段工作讓我第一次更系統地接觸傳統企業裡的業務支援、文件流程和營運細節。This role gave me my first structured exposure to business support, documentation workflows and operational details in a traditional company.

Overview

在 Thompson V.,我擔任 Business Assistant,主要支援公司日常業務與營運資料。我接觸到客戶資料、產品資料、訂單文件、供應商資訊和內部行政流程。這段經驗讓我看見傳統企業裡資料和流程常見的問題:資訊分散、格式不一、很多邏輯存在人的經驗裡,而不是系統裡。At Thompson V., I worked as a Business Assistant supporting daily business operations and operational data. I worked with customer data, product information, order documents, supplier information and internal administrative processes. This experience showed me common problems in traditional operations: scattered information, inconsistent formats and business logic that lives in people’s experience rather than in systems.

我主要負責什麼What I Owned

  • check_circle我協助整理業務文件、客戶資料、產品資料與訂單相關資料,確保日常營運可以順利推進。I helped organize business documents, customer data, product information and order-related records to support daily operations.
  • check_circle我支援業務端需要的資料準備,例如客戶資訊、產品資訊、供應商相關資料和內部文件。I prepared information needed by the business side, such as customer details, product information, supplier data and internal documents.
  • check_circle我協助處理日常行政與溝通工作,讓不同部門或人員之間的資訊可以更清楚地傳遞。I supported administrative and communication work so information could move more clearly between people and teams.

我看到的 business pain pointsBusiness Pain Points I Observed

  • check_circle資料格式不一致,導致後續整理和查找效率低。Data formats were inconsistent, making later organization and retrieval inefficient.
  • check_circle客戶、產品、訂單、供應商資訊分散在不同文件或不同人手上。Customer, product, order and supplier information was scattered across documents and people.
  • check_circle很多 business rules 沒有被清楚寫下來,而是依賴熟悉流程的人口頭傳遞。Many business rules were not clearly documented and depended on verbal transfer from people familiar with the process.

這段經驗帶給我的能力Capabilities I Built

  • check_circle文件與流程整理能力:一份資料如果要被多人使用,就必須清楚、穩定、可追蹤。Documentation and process organization: if data is used by multiple people, it must be clear, stable and traceable.
  • check_circle業務支援能力:我學會站在 business user 的角度思考,他們真正需要的是能幫助工作推進的資訊。Business support mindset: I learned to think from the business user’s perspective and provide information that actually helps work move forward.
  • check_circle資料敏感度:我理解到資料問題很多時候不是技術問題,而是 business process 沒有被定義清楚。Data sensitivity: I learned that many data problems are not technical problems, but undefined business processes.

What I Took Away

這段經驗讓我從早期電商的個人營運,進一步接觸到公司內部的 business support 和流程管理,也為我後來做 data cleaning、mapping file 和 business rule modelling 打下基礎。This experience expanded me from personal e-commerce operations into internal business support and process management, laying the foundation for later data cleaning, mapping files and business rule modelling.
