My Story

我的商業直覺不是從課本開始,而是從自己經營線上生意開始。My business instincts did not start from textbooks; they started from running my own online business.

Overview

在這個階段,我經營 online gaming / e-commerce 相關業務,透過 Amazon、eBay、Taobao、8591 等平台做銷售。這是我第一次完整接觸產品、價格、客戶、平台規則、訂單、交付與售後,也讓我很早就知道:商業不是單點能力,而是一條完整的營運鏈。During this stage, I ran an online gaming and e-commerce business across platforms such as Amazon, eBay, Taobao and 8591. It was my first full exposure to product positioning, pricing, customers, platform rules, orders, delivery and after-sales support. I learned early that business is not a single skill, but an end-to-end operating chain.

我主要負責什麼What I Owned

  • check_circle我負責跨平台商品上架,根據不同平台的使用者習慣、價格區間與競品狀況調整 listing。I managed cross-platform listings and adjusted them based on user behavior, price ranges and competitor activity.
  • check_circle我會處理商品描述、價格設定、訂單確認、付款狀態、交付安排與售後問題。I handled product descriptions, pricing, order confirmation, payment status, delivery arrangements and after-sales issues.
  • check_circle我需要持續觀察市場需求與競品價格,判斷什麼商品更容易成交、什麼價格更有競爭力。I continuously observed demand and competitor pricing to understand what products converted better and what prices were competitive.
  • check_circle我也需要處理客戶溝通,包括詢問回覆、交付時間確認、問題排查與售後安撫。I also handled customer communication, including inquiries, delivery confirmation, issue resolution and after-sales support.

這段經歷如何影響我How This Shaped Me

  • check_circle我很早就接觸到 pricing、demand、conversion、customer experience 這些概念,雖然當時不是用專業名詞理解,但每天都在實際操作。I was exposed to pricing, demand, conversion and customer experience early, even before I described them with professional terminology.
  • check_circle我學會從客戶反應反推產品策略,也學會從競品和平台規則中找到自己的空間。I learned to use customer responses to refine product strategy and to find opportunities within platform rules and competitor behavior.
  • check_circle這段經驗讓我後來做 dashboard、sales analytics 或 business performance tracking 時,不會只看數字,而是會思考數字背後的商業行為。This experience later helped me approach dashboards, sales analytics and business performance tracking with a commercial lens, not just a numerical one.

What I Took Away

這段經歷是我後來所有 business、operations 和 data 工作的最早起點。它讓我知道,真正有用的數據,一定要能回到商業現場解釋問題、改善流程、提升結果。This experience became the earliest foundation for my later work in business, operations and data. It taught me that useful data must ultimately explain real business problems, improve processes and drive outcomes.
